Your choice colors of Crayons- grated and separated into piles.

Syringe, the kind you use to give little kids liquid medicine

Sprinkle one, two or all of the colors on you egg. Take boiling water and fill the syringe. Slowly let out the water over the egg. This will cause the wax to melt over the egg, let wax firm up. You can repeat steps if you want to add more color or texture.
